# Bird Snake Toad and Armadillo

Description for blind and low-vision visitors

A horizontal painting filled edge to edge with rippling, marbled patterns in soft pastel tones of pink, blue, orange, green and cream that flow across the entire surface like wood grain or water. At the center-left a large bird rests with a long body whose folded wing is rendered as a fan of multicolored horizontal stripes; it has a sharp pointed beak and a crest. To its left and below, slender curving forms terminate in additional small bird heads with crests and round eyes. In the upper right a smaller bird with outstretched wings appears in profile. Long green-and-white feathery fronds sweep diagonally across the lower portion. The whole composition shimmers with concentric and parallel wavy lines, giving an overall flickering, watery texture against the warm light ground.
