Description for blind and low-vision visitors

A vertical painting on a black background showing a fantastic horse rearing with its head thrown back, mouth open to bare sharp teeth, and a single staring eye. The body is assembled from overlapping patterned panels in orange, blue, purple and pink, with a radiating star-flower motif on the chest and a leg covered in concentric eye-spots. A streaming mane and tail of fine coloured lines flow around it, while spiky green palm-like fronds and small red buds fill the surrounding space. The white painted signature and date sit at the lower right in the naive style.
