Description for blind and low-vision visitors

A horizontal painting on a pale cream ground streaked with soft yellow, pink and blue. Two long serpent bodies loop and cross at the centre, tying themselves into a loose knot. The left serpent is red and orange, its skin worked in dense white dotting and coiled scrollwork, with oval panels ringed in red; its head, at the upper left, is violet and blue with a sunburst eye of yellow and black, and its jaws gape wide on triangular white teeth and a forked red tongue. The right serpent is deep blue and teal, patterned with large oval medallions in blue, pink and gold; its head, at the upper right, is green and turquoise with the same radiating eye and open toothed jaws. Both tails taper to fine points near the lower edge. Sprays of narrow leaves in green, orange and red rise from the bottom corners.
