Description for blind and low-vision visitors

A fantastic long-necked bird rises against a black background, beak open and eye marked with concentric stripes. Its sweeping tail of yellow plumes is dotted with rings of blue, red and white eye-spots fanning to the right. The neck and body show banded stripes of red, blue and white, and the bird's pale legs and feet are at lower left. Thin radiating coloured lines and slender green fronds fill the field in the naïve folk manner. A white date and signature sit at lower centre.
