Description for blind and low-vision visitors

A horizontal painting on a vivid yellow ground crowded with stylized birds, insects and a serpent. On the left a large plumed bird perches on a brown branch, its body striped in blue, pink and orange and its long fan tail streaming downward in feathered bands. Sweeping across the upper center is an enormous patterned form, like a leaf or wing, filled with red, green and orange scrolling lines and a network of fine outlines. At the upper right a slender bird with a long beak and trailing tail feathers stands above a large green and turquoise oval covered in dotted scale patterns. A spotted serpent winds horizontally across the lower center along a thick brown branch, near scattered beetles and a pineapple-like insect. Smaller birds and winged insects float near the upper edges. The whole surface is densely worked with fine parallel hatching in red, orange, blue and green.
