Description for blind and low-vision visitors

A single ornate rooster stands centered on a pale cream ground, its head turned with open beak and a tall crest of red and blue striped plumes. The rounded body is layered with red, orange and yellow striped feathers, a pale blue-edged wing, and a long tail of fine red and blue lines sweeping to the right. It perches on slender green legs with curled black claws above spiky green palm fronds. In this naive decorative style the plumage is rendered in dense parallel linework; a date and a stylized signature appear at the lower center. Faint graphite (pencil) underdrawing is visible in places.
