Description for blind and low-vision visitors

A horizontal painting on a glowing yellow-orange ground dominated by a large red serpent that arcs across the composition. The serpent's head, at the upper left, is open-mouthed with rows of white teeth and red dotted scales, its long body curving down and around to the right where it coils through the limbs of a dark forked branch. Facing the serpent at center is a crested bird with a blue head and a rounded, armadillo-like banded body striped in green, yellow, orange and gray, standing on the branch with clawed feet. A small green creature hangs below the bird's beak. The background radiates with fine concentric lines suggesting heat or light. The signature appears at lower center-right.
