Description for blind and low-vision visitors

A vertical painting on a saturated yellow ground. A large bird fills the centre, its blue neck arching down to the left in a deep curve dotted with pale spots and ending in a small head with a radiating eye and a long black and red beak that points at the ground. The body is built from overlapping panels of pattern: a red-orange shoulder covered in fine white dots and heart shapes, a rose and gold wing marked with leaf-shaped eyes, and a violet and blue underside. Long tail feathers stream to the lower right in fine red, green and blue striations. The bird stands on scaled legs that end in heavy black claws. A second, smaller bird perches at the upper right, its neck raised and its own tail fanning out. At the lower left, broad green and pink leaves carry a butterfly, two black ants and a striped caterpillar. Feathery fronds in green and red fill the remaining space.
